What You Will Be Doing

As a teller for Golden Belt Bank, you become an integral part of our deposit operations team. Our deposit department welcomes customers and provides routine information concerning services.  You will also process deposit transactions and provide cash back to customers.  

What You Bring

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (ie. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

 We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Loan Officer I to join our lending team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in beginning a career in residential mortgage lending and banking. The Loan Officer I will receive training and ongoing support in loan origination, mortgage regulations, and credit analysis.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and process consumer and/or commercial loan including residential mortgage loans
• Interview applicants and obtain necessary financial and credit information
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral
• Prepare loan presentations and recommendations for approval
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and referral sources
• Cross-sell bank products and services as appropriate Monitor loan portfolio performance and assist with collection efforts as needed
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, college coursework or degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
• Banking, customer service, or sales experience a plus but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn lending regulations and credit analysis
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
