Full-Time Loan Processor  (Hays, KS)
 

As a loan processor for Golden Belt Bank, you become an integral piece of our loan department team. Our loan department completes all of the prep work necessary to close the bank's loans. This includes home loans, car loans, business loans, and other real estate loans. You will be assigned loans to process and run point on ensuring timely completion of our defined procedures. In addition, you will provide customer service support for loan questions to both new and existing customers.

What You Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (ie. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

 Loan Officer I  (Fort Morgan, CO)
 We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Loan Officer I to join our lending team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in beginning a career in residential mortgage lending and banking. The Loan Officer I will receive training and ongoing support in loan origination, mortgage regulations, and credit analysis.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Originate, structure, and process consumer and/or commercial loan including residential mortgage loans
  • Interview applicants and obtain necessary financial and credit information
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral
  • Prepare loan presentations and recommendations for approval
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and referral sources
  • Cross-sell bank products and services as appropriate
  • Monitor loan portfolio performance and assist with collection efforts as needed
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, college coursework or degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
  • Banking, customer service, or sales experience a plus but not required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn lending regulations and credit analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Pay: $57,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year

Each summer we host an intern through KBA's Internship Connection Program. Their program connects in-state college students with banks for a paid summer internship opportunity. During the internship, you will receive many hands-on learning opportunities and work-related experiences to learn about community banking and the banking industry.
